When the old world slipped into darkness, someone had to keep the fires alive.

When I was a child, I thought masks were made for pretending.
Now I know they were made for remembering.

They say this is the time of year when the veil between worlds grows thin.
But perhaps that veil was never about life and death — maybe it was always about awareness. About how much of what we feel, we actually allow ourselves to see.

It’s been barely a month since I stepped into this new world as an author — still learning, still finding my rhythm…

Fall has a way of telling the truth softly.
It doesn’t tear away what no longer serves; it simply releases it.
Leaves let go without anger. Trees don’t beg the wind to stop.
